Selling Spoilt Muffins

We decided to have a business breakfast this morning and chose Ninos Gateway. The advertising boast FRESHLY PREPARED FOOD, I Beg to differ. We placed our orders with our waitron and started our meeting, about 15 minutes later, we received our Muffins, no beverages. I then engaged with the Manageress who was busy on her blackberry for the said duration & I enquired if the coffee station was out of order as we were waiting for more than 20 minutes for our beverages. Not even an apology, then the beverages arrived. While eating my Lemon and Poppy seed muffin, I noticed that it had an odour, when I broke it in half, it was all sticky and was definitely off. My manager brought this to the attention of Lenelle, and we received a half hearted sorry! The best part of my Nino's experience was when they brought the replacement muffin, it was hot at the top and still frozen cold at the base, THIS WAS NOT MY IDEA OF FRESH! To be charged a premium of R24 for a Muffin that is Spoilt and that is accompanied by Pathetic service is SAD.To the MANAGEMENT of Nino's, Go have a coffee at Gloria Jean or Mug n Bean and take a Page out of their Book! Business can't be that BAD that you need to sell Spoilt Food!
