I would like to express my dissatisfaction to the false advertising Spur Family Restaurant portrays regarding their "Thursday Special on the all you can eat Ribs and Wings",
Last night I had supper at the Spur in Clearwater's Mall, JHB and opted to have the above mentioned Special. The special states 400g ribs and wings all you can eat, the issue is:-
? The first serving you receive 400g ribs with 6 wings chips and onion rings,
? The second serving you get a smaller portion of ribs with 4 wings with a lot of chips and onion rings, when I questioned the waiter he smiled and said that's how the kitchen sends it out,
? The third serving you get an even smaller portion than the second serving ribs with 4 pieces of bone smaller than the size of my palm and 3 wings, still a lot more chips and onion rings,
So why advertise 400g all you can eat, the advert should rather state 400g sliding scale???
Not to mention the slow service when waiting for your servings, seemed like they could have been a bit under staffed on a busy week day in the School holidays, I found this absolutely ridiculous.
