To late for breakfast

Saturday morning at 11.03am we walked into Spur Bela Bela.By the time the waiter had taken our order for drinks and breakfast, it was 11.08am. At 11.10am the waiter returns to our table to advise us that breakfasts were no longer available as it was past 11am. So what are you serving between 11 and 12? Lunch?
Perhaps someone at Spur needs to provide the staff with a dose of common sense?
