I am a customer of at least 40 years with Spur. I went to Sea point Spur on Sunday 7th July for the breakfast special having had many at different Spur outlets previously. We were seated at 1105 and were told that the breakfast special expired at 11am. I was unaware of this and pointed out to the waitron and later the very curt, unhelpful manageress that I was but 5 minutes "late" >I also told her that I had had the breakfast special at that same spur after 11 and my partner at the Howard Centre Spur, before 12 and nothing was said. I requested than to order breakfast at the normal price off the menu and was curtly told they dont serve breakfast after 11am. So must I have a burger at 11am??I was flabbergasted with this "stuff you its policy" attitude and we walked out and went to another opposition outlet and had a breakfast..I think Spur need to relook at their policy and be more flexible until midday. The restuarant was empty when we were there and the waitron told us that many clients complain about this lack of flexibility. I wil never set foot in any Spur outlet again..Business is tight today and they cant afford to antagonise customers..
