KFC at the Sandown shopping centre. This brand new branch is impressive to look at but their food and service.
A few weeks ago I purchased something from the drive through, the meal included chips.
My very bright girlfriend insisted we check the food before leaving.
We did.
The chips were cold and dried out.
She took them back into the store where they happily replaced them with fresh ones. (there goes the convenience of drive through)
Today we decided on KFC again.
We went to the drive through.
At the window I asked for 2 street wise two meals with a special request.
The lady asked me what that would be and I said that I would like the chips to be fresh.
She laughed and said ok.
We checked the chips.
They were really stale.
I stormed into the store and told the guy that the chips were cold and stale.
He inspected them and went to the back. He returned a short while later and told me he was sorry for the inconvenience.
Well at least now the chips were hot but i do beleive it was the same chips that had been warmed up.
We went home and dumped the chips and ate the chicken.
The chicken by the way, was by no means fresh.
KFC, Is this the kind of service we should expect?
