My family and I decided to go to the MCD's drive through in Umhlanga for an early supper, thinking that we could get quick, efficient and good service. To my disappointment that was not the case. Placed my order with an individual standing in the drive through as it was not functional, then drove through to the till point to make the payment. I got to the till point and wanted to do a split payment (cash and card) as I have ebucks points that I wanted to utilize. The attendant taking cash insisted that they don't do that and after telling her that I have done this before at the very same branch admitted she doesn't know how to. I asked her to call the manager, Krishen, who came thru and told me the same thing. I told him that I did do it before and that this was unprofessional service, after which he says he remembers how to do a split payment. Bare in mind there was about 5 cars waiting in the queue behind me. I was so angry that I just paid cash and left. MCD's needs to train their staff on processes as well as etiquette before almost loosing custs. Furthermore, the sauce that was supposed to be free with my kids meal was not given. I am disgusted by the service and staff at this branch.
