Told 1 thing when took out policy now told anothe

So i was looking into policies for my parents the end of 2012 and graeme roberts called me and told me about the funeral plan. he was very impressive. he said that premiums never increase and that if i ever cancel then my premiums will be repaid. he also said there is a garunteed payout if they die. i had experience with another service provider who didnt pay when i lost a baby and also i had one life insurance policy who kept premiums if you cancel so these matters were important to me. recently i had an illegal 1life debit on my account so the metropolitan premium went unpaid. i have asked graeme to cancel the funeral plan and told him i want to put my money into a policy that has cash value also so asked him to refer me to such policies/investments rather. he now says premiums are only repaid within cooling off period. he emails a declaration (i never signed) and says thats policy. what happened to the phone conversation where he told me i will be repaid?? bladdy skelms. i have sent email and an attachment asking to cancel. i will pursue the false advertising with relevent authorities
