Unauthorized Debit from my bank account

I received a sms from my cell indicating a amount of R6 699 was debit from my nedbank check account on the 26th April 2013. When I checked my internet banking I noticed the reference for this debit has a long card number. I called Nedbank who informed me it was Ackermans and that I would need to contact them. I received the following number which stays engaged 0116675187. I called the Nedbank again and they gave me the legal card number 0861116059 and this number doesn't allow you to hold on for anyone you just need to leave a message. My complaint today is firstly:

I have a payment arrangement with Ackermans
Secondly, I've never given them my bank account number ever! for them to debit my account
Thirdly - who gives anyone the right to hack into my account and take monies without my consent.
Fourthly - when trying to get hold of anyone to assist - it seems impossible.

Regardless of the outcome of this complaint I will do the following going forward.
Close my nedbank cheque account - I fail to understand how my own bank will allow this debit without my consent.
