Absa
Absa ATM Loan

For the last 4 months I could apply for a ATM Loan through Absa. My credit history as far as my knowledge didn't change from March to end April 2013.

When my salary went into my bank account on Saturday Absa took their loan amount immediatly as like the other months. I immediatly apply for the ATM Loan again just to be told that "This account doesn't qualify for a ATM loan" I phoned the Wadeville branch this morning (My branch) to ask them why this will happen. The person on the other side told me "O that might be due to a new creteria" this was not acceptabel to me so I lodge a complaint where the branch manager than call me back. Her excuse to me was that they took your credit history for the last year in count and as per them I had 9 unpaid dt orders against my account since October 2012. The debit order that I've instructed the bank to stop for DSTC is now being see as unpaid.

My question to Absa is - why did you allow this loan for 3 months? No one seems to know the ansert to this question - surely if they are holding te unpaid debit orders against me (where I do not see that I ever had 9 dt orders on my account - WHY DID THEY ALLOW THIS LOAN FOR 3 MONTHS.
