My husband has been banking at Absa for almost the past ten years. He wanted to do a course which would up grade his salary by almost 70% but, did not have the funds so, he went into absa to apply for a loan, he only has one other account at lewis store which is upto date. Yet he was turned down for a absa loan their reason is he doesn't have credit rating, my question to Absa would be how is he suppose to get credit rating if no one is prepared to give him credit and I would think after been a customer for so long at your bank doesn't that stand for anything yet his told by absa his a high risk, I mean how can Absa say his a high risk after banking so long with them doesn't that show his consistent he has not been given the chance to proof his not high risk, he has been approved for a loan at capitec yet not the Bank his been dealing with all these years
