Since Jan 2013 Absa was offering me through the ATM a loan facility. I did apply in Jan/Feb/March 2013 sucessfull through the ATM Loan creteria.
On Saturday 27th April 2013 my loan amount owned to Absa for the March 2013 loan was taken from my salary as usual. I immediatly apply for a loan again just to be told that this account does not qualify for a loan.
I phoned Wadevill Absa this morning 29th April 2013 to find out why this will happen - I was told by one of their consultants that the creteria might have chaged - to me that was not a fair anser to my quistion. I than lodge a complaint against the branch where I received a call from a lady at Absa Wadeville - after ecplaining the problem I was told that since October 2012 I had 9 unpaid debit orders against my account - My question to Absa is my credit history didn't change since Jan 2013 to April 2013 so why allow a ATM Loan then for 3 months to find out with a shock that in April no suddenly I do not qualify? This is a huge set back financially as you need that extra loan now to settle debt - surely if I knew that Absa offer a service that can be taken away in seconds I would have though twice before applying
