So just as a courtesy, and before I close my short lived accounts I need to share my FNB experiences with the world. I applied for a checque account with R4000 overdraft. Not much to ask. So I got bombarded with business accounts, credit cards, ebucks, telephone banking etc. but my initial requirements of a R4000 overdraft was missed. I called in and re-applied, I got pre-approved for a R40 000 overdraft facility, which took my quite a bit of explanation to bring down to my initial request of R4000. So I submitted the documents, and again, and again. Eventually I gave up. So two weeks ago the credit card division called me to extend my credit card credit with another R30 000 to a total of R90 000 I think which I declined politely and raised the issue of my R4000 overdraft. Two days later they called me back so I can re apply for the overdraft and guess what, it got declined because I am overexposed, FNB would not allow an overdraft of R4000. So I just want someone senior to look at my income, and the rest of this this situation and tell me, this is not bizarre. I repeatedly asked the call centre to get someone senior to phone me but this never happened.?
