In November 2012 I took out a personal loan with ABSA and signed a 12 month contract. on the 04th April 2013 I paid off the loan. I understand that there was an outsanding fee of abou R300 (credit life) that i still had to settle.
On the 24th of April 2013 I receive a call from ABSA collections demanding that I pay the R300. Why am I getting a call from collections? I had a 12 month contract which I never defaulted and had paid a lot of money in advance. Why am I being handed over to collections? why am I being treated like an unpaying customer? meanwhile I'm 6 months ahead in the repayments?
