I Had Absa Credit card account, which I paid up in 13 Febuary 2013. I requested a paid up letter (via the long street branch in cape town) from the account section of the bank, and was told that they would send me the letter via email & snail mail. My first request for this letter was on 13 February 2013, and after going back numerous times and speaking to their account department and hearing the same story that they will send me the letter via email &nail mail again, I still have not received any letter to date. Does it really that so long to draft up a letter stating that the account has been paid up in full.
