I had a burglary on 2013-04-15 and reported the matter to the SAPS as well as Mi Way Claim no 448915 was issued. On 2013-04-23 the assessor visits me to investigate the matter. The problem was that they did not investigate the claim they were interrogating us with questions that had nothing to do with the incident (i was a detective for a long time and knows the difference between a investigation inquiry and an interrogation). Questions like why did you keep the receipt for such a long time. The house contents were then recorded and all the cupboards and closets were opened and photographed i had to open my firearm safe for them to be photographed. They made me felt like the person that was in the wrong, i live in this house for the past 23 years and this was the first burglary.
