I have the following to say with regards to how my claim is being handled by a company that apparently prides itself on excellence. It is beyond words totally disheartening and without a doubt disappointing, their renowned slogan "Welcome to my way where we do things your way" whereas it should have said "Welcome to Miway where they do things their way". On the 10 December 2013 we had a house breaking and case had been reported at our local police station, Protea glen SAPS, and I contacted my insurance company Miway were a claim was lodged. The assessor was appointed to come to my place on the 18 December 2013 (Take note of the time taken for an assessor to be appointed minding the fact that my house is in a state for an entire week) at approximately 09.08 the assessor arrived at my place to my surprise when we asked his questions, he was aggressive and had a condescending demeanour in his approach furthermore having the odesity of asking me to bank statement were I can't see the relevance linking this with the and on the policy is not stated that if claim is lodged bank statement will be requested.
