On Wednesday the 15th of January we had a house burglary, we contacted our insurance, Indwe, who took 5 days to send an assessor, Andre Visagie, who was the most unhelpful man ever. When he came our house had just been broken into the second time, he was totally unsympathetic and just basically came to give us forms to fill in, did not lift a finger to fill anything in himself and said that WE needed to get the police report, value of all items and also beyond that we had to do an inventory on all items, even every single ornament we have in the house. This is the first time we have claimed any insurance claim, we pay over R600 a month for the past 25 years and this is the service we get. Even after all documentation has been sent through, Andre has still not phoned us back to advise how the claim is proceeding, except to tell us two of our cellphones that were will not be covered as we didn't blacklist them. He has not offered to help us to get anything done at all.
