Finalising the estate

I lost my husband in June 2008 . He was banking with standard bank. so they said they would wind up the estate. Because it was a straight forward case it would't take long. Since July 2008 till now they say they are still busy trying to finalise it. I was so fed up that I stopped phoning them because it was traumatic for me. Now when I phone them they said there was an error that they will finalise it soon. I am really fed up. So please help
