On 20/12/2013 i called the toll free number as my card was blocked whilst abroad on holiday. Prior to departure i went to the bank and made necessary arrangements informing them that i was going on holiday which they made a note of.But when i ran out of cash and tried using my card it was blocked. i called from the hotel which is very expensive and spoke to call centre agents who put me from 1 person to another this after making it known that this was an international call. On 4 occasions after a long explanation they cut me off. They didnt have the decency to take down my number to call back as i was now desperate. They told me to wait 48 hours. The next day i went to a Standard Chartered and asked them to contact Standard Bank SA to see if i can make a with drawl from my account here again we were put from 1 person to next, eventually i gave up. I had to call my a relative who was also on holiday at the time to settle my hotel expenses and then departed for Dubai to be transferred to SA. We had a 8 hour wait and I didnt have money to buy food for my family we had to wait to get food on the flight. I was meant to be buy gifts for my family for Xmas but couldn't as i had no cash
