3 weeks have passed since my account was drained... I imagine I will soon be blacklisted as my medical aid and other debits will come off in 6 days and despite dozens of calls to claims (mostly sitting on hold til I give up). Driving to various banks including my branch at Sandton City to consult or draw statements. This includes emails too. That's petrol, parking, call costs and personal distress due to incompetence at refunding my money! Never mind this is the second time in 4 months that I have had committed on my account under their watch. Will they reimburse me for the costs? will they assure me my debits will get paid? Should I just start sticking my cash under the matress? I have had to borrow money which is also humiliating. Can anyone there take some initiative? Before I lose any more dignity or become black listed?
