I have tried multiple times to have my OTP corrected, as I have changed my cellphone number.
Version 1: Call centre
When you phone the online call centre, they advise you to go to ANY Standardbank branch, and ask by the enquiries counter to have the OTP removed. Once removed a new OTP can be set up electronically
Version 2: Branch visit
Enquiries counter advises that they cannot remove the OTP, but that they can change it to reflect the new number. They advise that if I want it removed I should contact the internet banking call centre
Version 3: My discomfort
Out of the two options available to me, I have now had my cellphone number changed 3 times on the system... yet my OTP is still being sent to my old cellphone number. The call centres advise me to go to the branch, the brances advise me to contact the call centres.
I have been to the Mayville branch, as well as to the Centurion branch... with the Call centres I have contact the Internet banking, general enquiries as well as the Prestige hotline.
