Card Listed on ITC as default incorrectly

In October 2010 I left employ of Discovery and terminated my credit card. I found out in Jan. that this was listed on ITC as a Default. I did not owe anything on this card. When it was meant to be closed it was on a zero balance. I had visited the Sandton office more than 6 times regarding this account. I finally got assistance from a Jaco Thompson who had confirmed that only credit card costs have been accumulating on this card as it was never closed. I received a letter from Delene De Oliveria to confirm that they had reversed these charges and the account had been closed & updated. My ITC profile shows the account is paid, but by law is still listed as DEFAULT as the company forwarded this information to them as such. I have been struggling to sort this out and have called the card division at Discovery on numerous occasions. No- one seems to know who can assist me. but she will not help either. She doesn't respond. Im now at a loss!!!
