I sent ABSA a query via email [Email Removed] on the 27th of February 2013 @ 4:39pm, to this date I have not had any feedback to my query was as follows:

Dear Consultant

Please advise how one can apply for a ReAdvance in order to consolidate debt. I did apply before but was decline on the grounds of affordability and when I stated I wanted to consolidate debt I was informed that ABSA does not do consolidations which I did not understand because your website clearly states that this product can be used for this purpose. My bond is for R300 000 and the funds that were used are R220200 which leaves access funds of about R78000. All I want to do is to consolidate the R70000 loan that I took out to make up the difference between the home loan amount granted and the cost of the property in order to ease financial constraint.

I would appreciate some assistance in this matter because I have been trying to resolve this issue for some months now. The consultants that I have seen at the branches have limited knowledge to assist me effectively.
