Extremely Poor Client Service!

I phoned Absa Home Loan Enquiries requesting a copy of our POA document. After holding for ages I was eventually told the copy would me mailed to me withint 3/4 working days.

2 days later I was happy to recieve an email from Colleen Brandt at Absa but puzzled that all documents except the POA was attached. I again requested that the POA be mailed to me. She told me she emailed me what was on the system. I replied I was told it was there; she denied it. Her emails were abrupt & unhelpful.

I phoned Absa in Somerset West where we had the POA signed and they confirmed it was on the system. Just to make sure I phoned Absa in Cape Gate to confirm. The receptionist refused to help me telephonically, insisting that I go into the branch or phone general enquiries - she said she was too busy answering other calls.

I again phoned general enquiries who said they couldn't see our documents on the system, that I had to phone securities directly. After every 0860 call I had to recharge my airtime! Eventually Lynette Pillay at Securities confirmed the POA is on the system and has promised to email it to me - in 3/4 working days.

I am so sick of being shunted around & poor service from Absa!
