The most frustrating Bank in South Africa

My brother transferred funds from his Standard Bank account at Sunninghill Square Branch to my Standard Bank savings on 16-April-2013, assisted by Katlego from enquiries, who assured him that the funds will clear immediately. Those funds were required urgently. The funds did not clear. Today, 17-April, I went into Hillcrest Branch in Pretoria were I was told to call Internet banking to get the funds cleared. Call center for Internet Banking told me to ask the Tellers Team Leader to clear the funds. When I relayed the message the lady refused flat out to assist and told me to go to Sunninghill to get the funds cleared there. She was rude, condescending, patronising and down right disrespectful. She screamed at me through the glass in front of other clients who were in awe at her behaviour. Her name is El-Marie Helberg. Till now, at 16:50 (more than 24 hours later) the funds have not been cleared. I spoke to Internet Banking again desperately pleading with them to clear the funds however the are telling me to go to the branch. I wanted to close my account but Hillcrest Branch was closing and they told me to come back tomorrow to close my account. I am desperate. PLEASE CLEAR THE FUNDS.
