I recently looked at my credit report and noticed that there was a judgement on there for a credit card debt that was paid off 4 years ago when they automatically took the owed money off my account, When i called them, they told me i had to get a lawyer to go to court to have the judgement removed!! They sent me a registered letter saying the debt is paid so i could take it to court! But it wasn't on a Nedbank letterhead so the judge won't accept it! So i have to go through all this again and this is costing me a fortune as lawyers charge per hour and the court house is in Jhb and i'm in PTA! I think it's a disgrace that Nedbank is so quick to ruin your credit report, but have no interest in helping to sort it out when the debt is paid!
