Yesterday 11/04/2013 I used Nedbank cellphon banking with the feature M-Pesa to transfer money to my wife. I went through the online procedures to secure the transaction. However up untill now my wife in Cape town have not recievedany sms. Last week I went through the same procedure and the confirmation sms came through about 2 hours after. My wife had to go into the bank through very long procedure to get the money. However this time the money went off from my account but not to her cellphone number. Its been more than 24 hours.
Now nedbank say they have nothing to do with Mpesa and that it take 5 working days to resolve. Why am I using MPesa, is it not suppose to be for emergencies and easiness. I'm working in a remote area with no banks. This is very dissapointing.
