I called In December to insure my son's motorbike. It was a 70CC track bike. I received such lovely service from the lady I decided that I would cancel my current insurance and change to outsurance with regards to my home content. My monthly payment would be higher but with Outsurance reputation it would be better.
In January I called to ask them if they would cover my Ipad that had been damaged. He advised that i was not covered for that! Is this not part of my insurance, these are the kind of things that cost the most! He later told me that my sons bike had not been insured and that I was insured for a remote control car to the value of R5000.00. I advised him what the correct product was and he said he would get back to me.
I never heard from him.
I called in late Feb to cancel my insurance due to the shocking service and was told by the very kind gentleman that I spoke to that although he would cancel it, he would give me feedback on the situation as it was unacceptable, guess what... still no call!
I should have stayed with my current insurance company, they would have covered my belongings if they were damaged. Second time I have been burnt by outsurance
