Mpumafurn cc. 22 oct 2012. Accident GWM bakkie FVH275MP. You forced me to use a sub standard panelbeater who charged R37 k to repair a vehicle with spares sourced by me of R9500 VAT. I received my vehicle after two and a half months. On the first trip 50 km from town the left front ball joint came out nearly causing another accident. Santam took from 22 Oct 2012 to Febr 2013 to pay the tow in company. The panelbeaters excuse was that Santam pays after 3 months, it will be normal for me to wait two and a half months for a repair. After 12 years with Santam Business, why should I stay with them?
Santam does not allow you to repair / quote on your own vehicle anymore. Santam will not allow you to buy your damaged vehicle back anymore. Go and bid at an auction on it... The Santam system forced me to buy another vehicle because I am to small to compete agianst a giant company who does not give a damm about small businesses and their call centre will not pay attention to complaints or process it.
