A Few years back I battled to pay my overdraft, and my account was handed over to nedbank legal. I paid the account more than a year ago.
Every time my account now goes into overdraft (no facility) they restrict my account. I have spoken on numerous occasion to Nedbank from a branch level, every time the account gets unlocked.
My problem is I go shopping on the Friday and then the Saturday, I check my bank balance and I have sufficient funds. I then go and purchase on my card something on Sunday. then all the charges and payments come through on Tuesday and my account goes in overdraft.
I have enotes and everything on my account, but I get no notification. I check my account, rectify the negative balance. Couple of days later I login into internet banking and my account is restricted again
My questions are:
1. Do they have qualified people?
2. How can your account go into arrears if they approve each purchase?
3. If your account goes into arrears with their approval, how can they restrict your account.
4. How can I stop this from happening, because branch managers have tried, but only empty promises
