How to WOW a customer!

I called the FNB Card call center to help me with a question I had regarding my online banking profile. I recently upgraded my Gold credit card to a Platinum card. When I received my new card I destroyed the old Gold card. And while Alice Ketelo at the call center assisted me, she asked whether I destroyed the card to which I replied "yes". You see at the beginning of March I bought airline tickets to Australia with the old card, so when boarding the flight next week they will request to see the card that was used to buy the tickets (which I cut into pieces). Alice noticed this and helped me to get a letter confirming the transaction, Bronwyn Fortune from FNB Card also responded with the letter within 24 hrs after I was told it would take about 3 days. Great service all round.
If it wasn't for Alice who was prepared to do that little bit extra I can only imagine what problems I would have on the airport next week. Another reason why I am a proud FNB customer! Great work guys!
