I've upgraded my credit card and at the same time increased my limit. When I received my new card I noticed that they loaded the limit increase on the old card. Surely it is obvious when you upgrade you card, that the new limits must be placed on your new card and the old card must be cancelled. I tried contacting the call centre - after transferring me to 5 different people the phone got cut off. After phoning back today and again speaking to another 4 people, someone assisted me but said that they had to transfer it to their admin team as they can't do it. They couldn't even give me a reference number - she just said it is her name (Alice) and the date of call which is today. Then she told me that it would take another 3 - 5 working days and I don't have that time - this is really urgent!!! How many people do one need to speak to for a simple transfer of limit from one card to another card which you should have gotten correct in the first place. I logged two queries regarding this with Premier banking as well but no feedback has been received. I should never have upgraded my card because now I am having endless trouble.
