My Card was from my hand at the ABSA ATM at Goodwood Mall 14.07.2012. Phoned FNB line to report card 14.07.2012 at 14:48:25: While on the phone cancelling my card, I heard a sms come through. once I finished the call I checked my sms's to see that R3000 was drawn from my account at 14:48:44 at FNB ATM Cnr of Voortrekker Rd & Vasco Boulevard. (Estoril) This exceeded my daily withdrawal limit of R1200. Reported Cheque Card & transactions made on account to Montague Gardens FNB Branch 16.07.2012. Returned to N1 City Branch 7.12.12 to be told there was no record of complaint logged. Resubmitted complaint to Laeeqah. Returned to N1 City Branch again 18/19 March 2013 after no contact from FNB once again, spoke to Laeeqah again who confirmed that the Department closed the case as the money was drawn with a card and correct pin. The transaction took place 19 seconds after the card was cancelled!!!
