4 weeks ago I took my mother CC Stander to an fnb atm withdrawal point next to Spar in Boksburg East at 06h00 to withdraw R100. At that point her card was swallowed - in that nor the card nor the money was returned. Within minutes fnb reported the matter and notified my mother that her card had been and various transactions took place, specifically - bottle store in the amount over R3000 totally to almost R12000, The limit on the card for daily transactions is R1500 to withdraw and R1500 to swipe as I have exactly the same account with FNB? Areas that she could not have been at, as she is unemployed and has no transportation. After weeks of back and forth, she was notified that the money won't be returned as the person that was doing the transactions had the card and the pin. The facts laid before FNB, this is a clear situation of card and no substantial proof was given that this matter was investigated and verified nor was an attempted made in correcting the matter and fnb returning her money that she entrusted with fnb. No proof of signatures have been provided either. I want to know what FNB intends to do with matter.
