I lost my purse with my cheque card and went to the branch on Wednesday 06 March 2013 (I took off from work to sort out my bank business). They supplied me with a temporarily card and said my new cheque card will be there in about 7 - 10 working days. On Friday 08 March 2013 I tried to pay with my temporarily card at a shop and the card was declined. In a hurry to go away for the weekend I forgot about the problem. On Tuesday evening 12 March 2013, I tried to withdraw money and the card just came out. Also in a hurry I used my hubby's card for the withdrawal. Yesterday evening I went to the ATM again - my hubby not home and I need to buy something to eat. Again the card came out, but this time with a transaction record stating: THE CARD YOU ARE USING IS NOT LINKED TO YOUR ACCOUNT. I then phoned Card Division and spoke to three people. The third person tried to check what the problem was but also couldn't fixed it. They only said to me that I must go back to the branch to go and sort out the problem. Is this really my fault? Now I must take off from work and waste my time to sort the problem the caused. I really think this is bad practise.
