It is almost two months since the took place on my account and I am yet to receive any logical feedback.
It is completely beyond my comprehension:
My wife's card is retained by the STANDARD BANK ATM outside the main Clearwater branch where there are cctv cameras and a security guard present.
R4900 is withdrawn in five minutes when my daily limit is R1500
I am actually on the phone with a consultant in the bank at the same time as the funds are being drawn and all he can do is tell me to phone card division.
I cancel the cards within ten minutes with card division, yet thirty minutes later a further purchase for the amount of R1100 is made at Checkers.
I am told by the department that there was too long a delay in cancelling the cards???
The big picture for me here is that if a device was installed on Standard Banks ATM, is that my responsibility?
I personally changed my daily withdrawal limit to R1500 in the Sunninghill Branch about three years ago due to on my account.
This claim has already been referred to the complaints department and I am still waiting for feed back
