My husband opened a Flexi Debit account last year August and all the necessary FICA documents were handed in at the branch. Now, 7 months later, while we are in Mozambique, the bank decides to put a FICA hold on his card and we have to cut out trip short, borrow money from friends and return to SA to FICA the card again. On top of all this, they decide to freeze the card over Easter weekend. ABSA, your policy is totally unacceptable!!! You got us stranded in a foreign country.
