Went to Standard Bank again, but it was a waste of time. The people who can sort out their stuff-up are only back on Tuesday, in the meantime I have no access to my money and the at Standard Bank played around with his computer keyboard for almost an hour until I asked him if he was just going through the motions knowing that he is not able to help me. He admitted that that was the case, so once again, they my chain and have absolutely no respect for me as a client. In the meantime, all my debit orders will bounce on Tuesday night, even if the matter is resolved by then, because "the system" picked up that there were "insufficient funds available" to honour the debit orders. They will inevitably reverse the bank charges for the dishonoured debit orders, but I will have to pay the penalties with my services providers and motor finance company as well as having a black mark against my name. Well Done Standard Bank!!!
