Why is ABSA Menlyn closed today - Sunday 31Mar.13. Today is NOT a public holiday and ABSA Menlyn published business hours includes Sunday mornings. DO NOT tell me that you have posted a notice on door and that should inform your customers - pleeeaaase!!! You should be aware that large numbers of clients visit your branch not even once a month and would NOT have been reached by your pathetic A4 piece of paper on the door.
I planned to deposit a large amount (6 digits business cash deposit) of cash this morning, then spend some time shopping in Menlyn, then return to office to complete some online ABSA transactions. Being closed on a day that you are normally open just ruined my entire day's planning.
I think it is pathetic that ABSA think they can communicate a change in business hours with a A4 piece of paper on the bank door - ABSA you are doing business in the 21 st century - an A4 piece of paper on the front door belong to rural tuck shop that are selling boiled eggs to pedestrians...
