Given the run around to surrender MY policy

I have a policy with old mutual. I wished to surrender it so I contacted them to find out what is required for me to do so. My dad who passed away was the policy holder. A month after his death I was given a call by old mutual. I informed them at the time we did not wish to surrender the policy as its had a waiver of premiums on it. I was asked to submit documents as my dad was now dead and my mum was the executor of the estate. I submitted all that I was asked to. 3 weeks ago I gave tham a call stating that we wish to surrender the policy. I was told that the policy is still in my dads name and had to be transferred to my mums name. I had to fill in the surrender form with my mum details and submit it together with I'd, bank statment and a proof of adress. Had to commission the forms as well. After submitting the forms I called the call centre to track the process. Then I was informed that the details on their system was incorrect and their back office has now noted me as the policy holder. This meant that I had to submit my details and a new surrender form to surrender the policy. I did so on tuesday 26 March 2013.By that afternoon I received a mail staing that their Fnb verific
