How can we NOT help you?!

I applied for a premier card card a month ago after a presentation conducted at work targetting young garduates. At the presentation we were told that a credit history would not be done as part of the package offered to the company. I applied and sent in the necessary documents in advance as I required it for a trip I am taking duting Easter. After not hearing anything from the sales guy I made numerous calls and sent numerous e-mails enquring about the status of my application. i was informed about a week ago that my application was rejected due to a lack of credit history. This was in contradiction to what was said at the presenatation and after asking about this I was told that that polciy only applies to grads taking out a cheque and creidt card with FNB. My issue is that: 1) that was NOT what was discussed at the presentation and 2) FNB staff should have had the decency to inform me of what was going on instead of having me hound them. It's now 2 days before Easter and I'm left without a credit card and with a sales guy who has yet to get back to me after promising that he would as a matter of urgency.
