I was involved in a minor accident in December last year, the person who bumped my car at the back admitted to it and signed a statement to say he is liable for the damages & will pay for my access. when I submitted the claim with Miway i was told not to take the access money from him, they would claim the full amount from the 3rd party. now 4 months later Miway tells me they could not recover the money from the 3rd party and they will not take them to court because the legal fees will be more then the amount claimed. what about my access then? Miway is the one who told me not to take the access money from the person who bumped me, now they say I must call that person and tell him to pay my access or take him to the small claims court. my second issue is that where will i get that person now, i could have gotten my money them. the fact that the amount is small for Miway does not mean I have to suffer. I WANT MY ACCESS back since they are willing to write off the total amount claimed. this is bad service and I'm now shopping around for another insurance because I feel robed. fortunately my car is fixed who knows what would have happened if the amount claimed was significant!!!
