I opted for Miway when taking my vehicle out of the garage Oct 12 due to their good service I got from people nevernind the quote they offered me on my new Ford Fiesta 2012 as I also received lesser quotes from other insuarance companies. My problem started on the 4th July 2013 when my car was involved in a accident and I was not driving but my fiance was driving, he got bumped from the back and he bumped the car infront of him, I called my way right then car was towed, claims done, car became write off, my claim was approved, I was so relieved as the amount approved covered to pay of my car my nightmare began when I was told a few deductions have to be made Access 10%, towing and storage (was informed but never thought it would amount to R12000) and the worst deduction was the prejudise amount or 31.6% of my market value amount, was still owing R129000 to the bank and the insurance could only settle R71000, Was advice the towing and acces amount will only be refunded after the claims from the 3rd paty have been approved from the other person who bumped us, It all happened at the worst time had just lost my job and now my car, right now I'm left with with a R50000 debt to the bank :-(
