FNB's BAD BAD service indeed!

On 18/03/2013, my dad went to FNB ATM (Maponya Mall) to withdraw money, but his card was swallowed by the machine. He then went inside the branch to get assistance. While on the queue, R2000 was withdrawn from his card. He then immediately called one of the ladies working there (Rachel - not sure about the name), to explain the situation and showed her the sms. The lady then assistated him immediately by cancelling the card, but while cancelling the card, another notification sms came with the withdrawal of R3000, he then showed the lady immediately again. Immediately after the lady told him that his card was now blocked, another notification sms came in showing a withdrawal of -R190, & another of -R200. The lady said he must come back on Friday to collect a new card because the old one is now blocked but they don't guaranttee him that he will get a refund. She also said they cannot trace those transactions because it seems like those criminals are using a speedpoint machine. They'll only be able to tell him if they will refund or not after the investigation, which usually takes six weeks. To my surprise, my dad was with the lady when those fraudlent
transactions were made.
