Myself and my wife canceled our life insurance with Momentum. My broker sent through all the paper work to them and we did the same. The still took the money from our account the 1st of March. First time my wife phoned they said they did not receive the paper work. Then they found it and refunded her money in 48 hours and said I must phone them my self to find out about my money and that she cant do it for me. When I phoned the first time at the beginning of the month they did not cancel my policy and did not receive a cancellation letter. After a Few phone calls and geting my blood boiling they found all the paper work. Then on the 19/03/2013 my wife sent an e-mail asking when the money was going to be refunded. We received an e-mail back the 22/03/2013 from Madelein Rossow saying "The funds will be refunded to Mr Fourie within 20 days of receipt of the funds". I phoned this morning and asked them to explain to me how can they refund my wife's money in 48 hours and take 20 work days to refund my money. They cant give me any explanation!!!
