I cancelled my insurance policy via e-mail on March 5th, with the understanding that it would only expire March 31st.
I did not receive any correspondence from Tracey Philaretou stating otherwise, and with the monthly debit order having been taken out on March 1st I had no other reason to believe otherwise.
One of the vehicle's covered by the policy was involved in an accident on March 20th.
Hawkeye Insurance Brokers was then notified of the accident on March 22nd.
I received a very agressive phone call from James Hawksworth On March 22nd saying the policy was no longer valid.
No part of the debit order was reimbursed at this point, until after the phone call.
The payment was then fully reimbursed on March 23rd only after the call on March 22nd.
