I have been a FNB customer for my entire adult life (42). We have over the years financed businesses, vehicles, and many properties via FNB under my Husbands name. Currently all my accounts, Checque, credit cards, Business account, savings etc. reside with FNB. My 2 very successful businesses trade from home. I employ 12 people. We have grown to such an extent that the business occupies ALL of the living space. It is utterly unbearable to work, shop and live here due to boxes filled with stock standing around everywhere. My family has no privacy any more. I have audited financials from a reputable CA, we are making a tidy profit. Never the less, FNB refused me a home loan to acquire a bigger premises where i can split the business from the living area - TWICE. I sent them 2 emails asking the reasons for the refusal, they ignored me. I threatened, they ignored me again. My business can only grow if we expand to a bigger premises. I have subsequently been speaking to many customers who are in exactly the same boat. Thank you FNB for the loyalty you have showed me in return after 20 years of loyalty, as well as the excellent service. Any other banks out there want my business???
