Not living up to "how can we help you"

I have started a business recently and have been approaching my bank "FNB" for a loan to help grow the business.

My first attempt took 22 days before I got an answer via email saying no because my business is not running for 2 years. I had to phone them each time to get a status report. Then I was told I need to speak to my local branch, which I did, a financial adviser told me that I need to try and get an additional loan using my home loan which is also with FNB, he was going to pass it onto someone working with home loans at FNB. 14 days later and still waiting for him/them to phone me back. After a week I phoned the main Home loan number on their website. Got an answer via email the next day saying that my business need to be around for 3 years, they can't help because I work for myself. Why would I need a loan after 3 years?

I would have hoped that someone would have picked up the phone and discussed some options with me, but no just get a robotic answer, no. Not looking at how well my business has done or offering any sort of help!

I hope that FNB would rather look at supporting entrepreneurs to get this economy going rather than just pointing fingers to the government!
