I applied for the young professionals account with FNB on 29 January 2013. I sent the required docs, I received my Debit card in a week. but no credit card, I queried this and was told I needed to send bank statements, which I had already done, but sent them again. I got an SMS saying my debit order switching was in progress. I noticed not all my debit orders were listed, I contacted FNB who advised I had not listed all the debit orders. When I proved I had, I was told that my medical aid and gym had to be done by me and not a 3rd party. Why was I not informed of this until I queried it? The 1 debit order switched went off on 1 March when I was told by FNB it would go off on the 30th, so I was overdrawn. I was then contacted and told I need to send proof of my degree for my credit card, again I had sent this info in, but sent it again. The courier contacted me and said my card would be dispatched and FNB would notify me when I could collect. I didnt hear anything so contacted the courier again who advised that my card was delivered to the branch on 8 March. I still have not been contacted by FNB. I forwarded my query to their complaints dept but but have not received a response.
