I have been a client with Virgin Money Insurance since 2010. I have recently discovered by accessing my Online Insurance Policy that I am not allowed to drive one of my insured vehicles due to unacceptable claims history. I contacted Virgin Money to inquire about it I was informed that my claims history was unacceptable as I had made two claims withing a 2 year period. The first claim was due to a accident I had whilst reversing my car into my driveway. The second being a damaged windscreen claim. There was a third claim which was due to my vehicle being damaged whilst parked in front of a business premises. I was advised by one of Virgin Insurance consultants to lodge the claim even though I informed them that I would be making a claim directly to the Business's Insurance as the damage was a direct result of their negligence, I later cancelled the claim I initiated with Virgin as my claim to the Business's Insurance, where my vehicle was damaged, was paid out by the Business.
I feel that Virgin Insurance is unethical as I was not informed that I was not allowed to drive one of my insured vehicles, I have been disallowed to drive the vehicle from approximately June 2012.
